  1. What are 3 instances in the film in which you see racism?

They is when they kick the people off the land to build a statium. Then there is when they pay him the bare minimum to play for the dodgers and they dont want to raise it the next year. Finally, there is when they wouldnt let the haspanics go to the games.

What do you feel were the true motivations of the Dodgers organization with their treatment of Fernando? Were they fair?

They wanted to win asfter they broke the color barior and they thought the could fine a gel haspanic player and they did fernando. i think they did treat him well and all the players liked him and respected him because he was a great player and they new he was by his perforance. I dont they payed him as well as he did and i dont think they would have inless he went on strike.

Why was Fernando such a strong marketing component for the Dodgers organization?

He could win so many games for them and he threw so many pitches and he had thet screwball that no one could hit. I think also he could hit to and that helped them win games. He was just an all around great player and for sopme games he scored the only point and would pitch a shutout. He changed there team and made them a great team.

How do you feel that Fernando has changed the perception of Latino baseball players in the Major Leagues?

He broke that barrior and gaves kids hope that they could play in the major leagues and that they would not be just brushed off to the side and that they could be just as good as a player who is black or white.

    What opprtunities did he create?

He made it posable for people of the haspanic community to play in the majors. He also created charitys and made kids that thought would never be looked at feel better knowing that if fernando could do it they could.
